最近太空真是越来越喧闹了。中国神七载人飞船刚凯旋归来，大洋彼岸的Google发射的卫星GeoEye-1近日传回消息，已经进入预定轨道。
GeoEye-1卫星不仅为Google工作，同时也为美国国家地理空间情报局的NextView计划提供情报。
搜索巨头Google的在线地图有专属权利分享GeoEye-1的图片，它会被使用在其Google Earth和Google Maps产品中。甚至在波音公司的运载火箭上有其公司的标志字样。
据路透社消息，GeoEye-1于上星期六早上在加利福尼亚州的范登堡空军基地发射，下午，卫星已脱离第二阶段的三角洲2型火箭，并初始化其机载系统。
